What Our Clients & Partners Are Saying

“Elizabeth brings a wealth of versatile skills and knowledge to her work around environmental conservation and justice. Ocean Conservancy commissioned Silleck Consulting Services to conduct a landscape analysis on ocean-specific climate justice issues in Florida, which provided deep and detailed insight into the communities most vulnerable to climate-related coastal impacts, and most susceptible to socio-economic deterioration as a result of climate disasters. The report’s findings were thorough, interdisciplinary, and prescient; several projections proved accurate when Hurricane Ian hit Florida’s west coast. If you are looking for a consultant to inform your organization’s programmatic focus with excellence, autonomy, and discretion, I highly recommend Silleck Consulting Services.”

“I hired Elizabeth to do an in-depth landscape analysis regarding a very sensitive topic in America - race, racism and civil rights. As you can imagine, if this topic is not approached with the right care, empathy and understanding - it's a non-starter. You might as well pack your laptop and walk the other direction! Elizabeth's attention to detail, work ethic, willingness to be engaged, listen, learn, protect the work (OSG's confidentiality and those of its clients) and the integrity with which she handled some very sensitive interviews and other information was unmatched. She brought a can-do attitude when things weren't quite going as expected and turned things around for OSG's client. She has stellar research skills and a great legal mind. I will contract with Elizabeth again and again as long as OSG clients have a need for the skills she brings. I cannot recommend her enough if you need someone to help you synthesize complex information - she won't disappoint! I can't wait for our next project together!!”

“I had the joy of working with Elizabeth when she was contracted by Green America to develop "Calling for a Just, Clean Transition," a report on energy justice. Elizabeth was the lead author for this report, and as part of this, she connected with and interviewed several experts in the field and also developed the outline to assess various companies on energy justice practices. It was a large project that Elizabeth executed with great skill - she understood the concept and goals immediately and checked in with our team throughout the process to ensure things were on track. Elizabeth is an excellent (and fast!) writer, very responsive, and wonderfully collaborative. I had a great experience working with Elizabeth and would be glad to work with her again in the future.”

“Elizabeth created a diverse supplier database for our company. She conducted an extensive amount of research, leveraged her network, promoted our need and alerted us of diverse suppliers she found perfect alignment with our company based on shared values, purpose and goals. She architected the database with inclusivity and educated us on the nuances and injustices she discovered along the way (e.g. men leveraging women to promote their business as WBE). I can't recommend Elizabeth enough as she brings both passion and skill to her work, making introductions along the way.”

Elizabeth is a thoughtful strategist, and an experienced organizer and advocate for ocean conservation who brings her deep passion for justice to her work. It is rare that you find a consultant who can both understand the policy nuances of the ocean issue you're working on and be able to infuse environmental justice into the core of your campaign. She is the definition of an intersectional approach to ocean issues.

Elizabeth was a speaker for me at my Summit on Anti-Racism. First of all, Elizabeth is a professional in every capacity. She came highly recommended by someone whose judgment I trust implicitly. It was a last minute ask and she reached out immediately and was able to make room in her very busy schedule to fulfill the speaking engagement. She is incredibly knowledgeable. We needed someone experienced in presenting on The Complexities And Responsibilities of Raising A Biracial Child And The Importance of Helping Them to Develop Their Identity. She is an exciting and engaging speaker who also blends in her knowledge of other topics in order to widen the lens and encourage others to seek additional information and resources. This experience has established an ongoing relationship and I will be calling on her to speak at my other events as well. She also has great integrity and is clear about boundaries and the need to speak candidly. I highly recommend her.

Deevon “Wes” La Rue exceeded my highest expectations in implementing my creative vision for Right Whale/Wrong Color. He drew the link between enslavement and exploitation of Black Americans and colonial exploitation and depletion of wildlife, using music and imagery to evoke a visceral and deeply impactful message. Having been born and raised in the US South as a Black man and creating across a myriad of industries clearly positioned him to produce a truly unique and meaningful piece of art. I highly recommend him, and look forward to working with Wes again!

Wes La Rue is a skilled film editor who is collaborative, creative, and dependable. He worked with my team extensively on “Blackwaters,” a documentary story highlighting racial equity in the outdoors. He has an artist’s command of sound design, clean timed transitions, and core messaging that shines through his work. He is always amenable to feedback and has the ability to follow story direction from the film director’s mission and vision collaborative editing a compelling story as part of the creative process. Wes has become a regular contributor to my film projects. I highly recommend him.
